MGZR 160 RT Sport 180ps Conversion

Once the RT Sport 180 package is installed to the MGZR 160, Power at the flywheel is increased from the standard 156ps to 180ps with increased torque, bottom end grunt, engine response and overall acceleration. Testing has shown the 0-60mph time drop by over half a second and 0-100mph time reduce by nearly 2 seconds. To maximise air entry to the engine, we specify the “Maxogen” air box induction system from F1 manufacturer ITG air filters. Attention to manufacturing detail and large performance gains are the keys to this exceptional system. It maximises airflow, both the performance air filter and ducting enhance the density of the air entering the engine. The carbon fibre air box enhances air speed and intake temperature, leading to the creation of cooler denser air. On the exhaust side of the engine, we use a high flow system specifically designed for the MGZR. First is a 4 into 2 into 1 exhaust manifold in mild steel. The small bore design leads to increased power and mid range torque. Next is a new Sports catalytic converter, the less dense cell pattern allows a higher exhaust gas flow through the catalyst and reduced back pressure, leading to improved power output. Next is a less restrictive intermediate pipe made in stainless steel and completing the exhaust system is an Xpower sports silencer, again produced in high-grade (304) stainless steel. The new silencer offers awesome sound, improved performance and lifetime Guarantee. Each package is supplied with unique PTP inlet manifold and body stickers for the finishing touch. Customers who do not require all of the parts within a package (as having them already or a suitable alternative) can remove these items and reduce the overall price accordingly. Hi Simon,i bought and fitted on my MG ZR160 the RT Sport 180 kit, ITG "MAXOGEN" induction system, the 421 exhaust manifold,the sports catalyst, the sports first rear silencer and link pipe from catalyst converter back,the end rear silencer.The car seems another one!With the original exhaust system the engine was so slow in the lower regimes of spin,in fact i felt the torque running only after 3500/4000 rpm,now the engine feels like free, then the torque starts running only at 2500/3000 rpm,and it's so impressive the way it goes up to 7000 rpm.I've tested the performances, and i was surprised to know that now the car runs from 0 to 100 Km/h in only 6,2 secs!

ja jsem mojeho MGka koupil taky v auto Rudná... a maximální spokojenost... vyjdou vstříc i když se scháněj díly.... seženou ti Alu original.... airbagy.... všechno prostě... a za slušný ceny... Jinak do toho žlutýho co stojí v Rudné bych nešel.... víděl jsem ho... mělo to nějaký prase... roztrhaný podběhy, podle mě bylo bouraný, nebo minimalne strikany... pravy madlo lepeny izolepou... a koberecky TUNING alá hypernova.... ten modrej vypadá o dost výhodnějš a je jako novej... koups blatnik.. za litr.... a co je s tim kolem... to se s nima domluvis a oni ti to sezenou... Auto bych si jinde už nekoupil než v Rudné u Prahy.... perfektní jednání, domluva.... rychlé vyřízení... perfekt... jinak na mém profilu v klubu TCT jsou ty fotecky Rovera 25 a MG ZR160...

ten zlutej v rudny, tata meho kamarada ho mel, dokonce jsem v nem jednou jel, ale co vim, tak tam stoji silene dlouho a je imho hodne predrazenej, ostatne jako vsechno v auto rudna
